This month I celebrate my 18th year in business! In 1990, I started this business as Memories of the Past, a small mail order store (this was before the internet was in every home). It was a way to help pay for the printing costs of the first Dark Refrain fanzine that I was working on. It started small with only a few Rocky Horror items. Eventually, Dark Refrain Volumes 2 & 3 were created and released, and more merchandise was added. Then came the website and the name change. DarkRefrain.com now has hundreds of Rocky Horror items and other cult movie memorabilia, including items from HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH and John Waters movies (including his early movies starring the incredible Divine). I plan to add pages for THE WIZARD OF OZ and JAMES DEAN in the future.

All orders must be a minimum of $10.00 before postage and sales tax is added. All orders received that are under $10.00 will be refunded!

You can place orders directly from this website using a credit card (which is processed through PayPal). You can also place an order and pay by check or money order. For mail orders, e-mail me the items you want to purchase and make sure to include your shipping address. I will respond with the total amount due which will include postage (and sales tax, if you live in Illinois). Postage is computed by PayPal for all orders. Orders are shipped by the United States Postal Service (USPS). Most US orders are shipped by priority mail with insurance. All orders being shipped outside the USA are shipped by international first class mail through the United States Postal Service. See next section for more information on foreign orders.

When placing an order through this website, PayPal NOW computes international postage (shipping outside the USA). This is an estimate, not the guaranteed actual price. If the cost of shipping is going to cost more than the amount you paid, I will email you a PayPal invoice for the additional postage that is needed. The order will not ship until I receive this payment. If you would prefer to make one payment, e-mail me your order and I will send you a PayPal invoice for the grand total which will include airmail postage. Insurance is extra and optional (although I highly recommend it). If you are overcharged for postage, I will make a PayPal refund after the order has been shipped.

Illinois residents please include 7.75% sales tax on total order (before you add postage)!!! This will be computed automatically by PayPal.

I accept credit cards through PayPal for all orders. For orders from U.S. residents, I can also accept personal checks and money orders made out to BRUCE CUTTER.
